Everything was first-class, no complains at all, I would recomand it. I was given double room with a kettle, central heating and a TV set. Location: the hotel was short walk to a footpath as well as a lovely garden.

Simply nothing too much trouble, very relaxing stay. Unusual and incredibly friendly hotel located not far from the centre of the village, hiking / cycling trail and transport. A huge variety of brilliant food for meals. Large spotless rooms with lovely view over the garden, a comfy chair in the bedroom and kingsize bed, amicable staff. Beautiful location down to the sea, and 5 minute walk from Dovery Manor Museum.

We had a wonderful stay at The Gables. The location was perfect, in the heart of Exmoor, close to restaurants and hiking trails. Chris and Louise were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. They even accommodated our early breakfast request. Our room was spacious with a lovely view of the garden. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean and warm. And let's not forget the spectacular Sunday morning breakfast! We highly recommend this cozy and friendly hotel.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The couple running the place were very friendly and accommodating. We were able to borrow DVDs and the room had everything we needed. The location was ideal for exploring the town and its surroundings.
The parking situation was a bit inconvenient as it was either in a pay car park or a short walk away. It might be a hassle if you have heavy luggage.
